Grundsau Lodsch Nu. 16 Am Jahden will have an event at Wehr's Dam 7 a.m. Feb. 2.

The program will consist of pledging the flag, singing songs and waiting for the arrival of Jahde and grandson Lee (two groundhogs) via the Jordan River either on a sled or a raft depending on ice or flowing water.

Upon the groundhogs' arrival, there will be a prediction of either an early spring or six more weeks of winter weather.

Translation of PA Dutch will be given so all can understand the events.
