Harassment

Tarah M. Bartholomew, 36, of Lower Macungie Township, was charged with harassment after she allegedly pushed and struck a woman in the 3000 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 5:57 p.m. Jan. 22. Charges were filed in District Court 31-2-03.

Hit and run

State Police are investigating a hit and crash occurring when a vehicle struck a residence at 4771 Somerset Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 5:15 p.m. Jan. 21. According to police, a vehicle was eastbound along Strathmore Drive when the driver lost control on the snow covered roadway, traveled through the yard of the residence and struck the residence causing structural damage. The driver then backed the vehicle onto the road and fled westbound on Strathmore Drive. Anyone with information about the vehicle or the operator may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

Theft

Reported by a 13-year-old male in the 5600 block of Buckeye Road, Lower Macungie Township, a cellphone was removed from a backpack in a gym locker room between 4 and 6 p.m. Jan. 5. The teen told police he put the phone in his backpack prior to the start of a basketball game and the cellphone was not in the backpack when the teen returned to the locker room after the game ended.
