Area schools present musicals and plays

Area schools will present plays and musicals this spring. All productions had not been announced as of press time. A partial compilation of productions follows.

Allentown Central Catholic High School will present "Bye, Bye, Birdie" 7 p.m. April 9, 10 and 11 and 2 p.m. April 11. For tickets, contact Cindy Fenstermaker at 610-437-4601 or cfenstermaker@acchs. info.

The Emmaus High School Drama Department will present Disney's "Mary Poppins: The Musical" 7 p.m. March 18, 19, 20 and 21 and 2 p.m. March 21 and 22. There will be a Gold Card preview performance 6 p.m. March 17; reservations are required for the preview show. Tickets are available online from www.eastpennsd.org/ehs. Tickets also are available at the high school main office during school hours beginning Feb. 5. Telephone orders will not be taken at the office.

Salisbury High School will present "Pippin" 7 p.m. March 5, 6, 7 and 3 p.m. March 8. Tickets can be reserved by calling 610-797-4107, ext. 2508 or by emailing salisburytheatre@salisburysd.org.

Lower Macungie Middle School will present "Crazy for You" 7 p.m. March 26, 27 and 28 and 2 p.m. March 28. Tickets will be available by calling 610-395-8593, ext. 26212.

Eyer Middle School will present "Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka Jr." 7 p.m. March 26, 27 and 28 and 2 p.m. March 28. For information and tickets call the school at 610-965-1600.

The Jefferson Elementary School Drama Club, a parent run group, will present the production "The Rockin' Tale of Snow White" 1 and 5 p.m. April 18. Contact the school for ticket information.

Lincoln Elementary School will present "Peter Pan Jr." 7 p.m. June 3, 4 and 5. For ticket information, call 610-965-1636.
