Whitehall High School Theatre proudly presents "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying The Musical Comedy!" Reserve your seats today by mailing a self-addressed stamped envelope to Whitehall High School Theatre, 3800 Mechanicsville Road, Whitehall, PA 18052. Show dates are April 9-11 at 7:30 p.m. and April 12 at 2 p.m. The price is Adult seats is $12. Seniors and Students are $8. There is also a Dinner Theatre option available 6 p.m. April 11. Price includes catered dinner and prime seating for the show. Adults are $29. Senior and Students are $25.

Middle School's Student Council Carnation Sale continues through Feb. 11. Students, staff and parents can order a carnation and have it delivered with a special message to a special valentine friend or secret admirer. Students will be given forms with more details of the event. Carnations will be distributed Feb. 11. This has been an annual event and the Student Council has been able to raise money for various charitable groups through this event. It is always a fun project and beneficial. Join in the fun!

Middle School Second Quarter Report Cards will be distributed Friday, Feb. 6. Be sure and discuss any issues or concerns with your child's teacher, along with your child.

The Whitehall Zephrys Varsity Swim Team is hosting a "Swim Team Benefit Night" at Sam Owens Restaurant, 128 Chestnut St., Coplay. The event is 4-9 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 3. All proceeds will benefit the WHS Varsity Swim Team.

Winter dismissals are as follows, please make note. Due to the pending inclement winter weather, parents are encouraged to discuss arrangements with their children in the case of early dismissals. Please plan with your child what to do in case of emergency for safety. It is helpful to listen to daily weather reports for situations that may affect the school schedules. Plan what radio and TV stations to listen to or check the school website, www.whitehallco-play.org. During bad weather, the Whitehall-Coplay School District will implement one of the following plans: school closing for the day, delayed opening of schools, or closing during the school day. In the event of a two-hour delay, they will use the following modified kindergarten schedule: morning kindergarten starts at 10:50 a.m. and ends at 12:40 p.m. Afternoon kindergarten will start at 1:25 p.m. and ends 3:15 p.m. For the Modified kindergarten schedule, the bus for the afternoon-children will arrive approximately 50-60 minutes later than the regular pick up time for school. PM Kindergarten students will be dismissed at the regular dismissal time. Due to weather and traffic conditions, the school/transportation office cannot predict the times for the different bus stops. Please help the school by not calling the offices. Parents are encouraged to listen to local radio and TV stations for information.

Please note that schools will be closed Feb. 13 and Feb. 16 for President's Holiday. Feb, 13 is a possible snow make up date, if needed. Mark your calendars for these dates to plan accordingly.
