Retail theft
Jediath Aneudy Diaz-Lopez, 21, of Whitehall, was charged with retail theft after he allegedly took $34.47 worth of merchandise from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 7 p.m. Jan. 10. Charges were filed in District Court 31-3-02.
DUI
Craig Kohler, 39, of Macungie, is accused of driving under the influence of controlled substances after a single vehicle accident along Hamilton Boulevard in Lower Macungie Township around 5:30 p.m. Dec. 18, 2014. Kohler allegedly was northbound when the vehicle he was driving left the road, jumped a curb, struck two utility poles and a traffic sign before stopping in the driveway of 4540 Hamilton Blvd.
Roberto Manuel Natal-Rivera, 32, of Allentown was taken into custody for driving under the influence of a controlled substance and his front seat passenger, Jonathan Colon-Echevarria, 26, also of Allentown, was taken into custody for drug possession after a traffic stop along Hamilton Boulevard at Broad Street, Lower Macungie Township, 10:32 a.m. Jan. 2. Natal-Rivera allegedly was driving under the influence and Colon-Echevarria allegedly had marijuana in his possession at the time of the traffic stop. Charges against both men were filed through District Court 31-3-02.
Drug possession
A 16-year-old black male, a 16-year-old white male and a 17-year-old white male, all of Macungie, were charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and disorderly conduct after they were found playing with Airsoft guns and causing a disturbance throughout the Rolling Green Place neighborhood in Lower Macungie Township Jan. 4. Charges were filed in juvenile court.
Simple assault
Nathan Daniel Boyer, 23, of Emmaus, was arrested and taken into custody for terroristic threats and simple assault after police were called to a domestic argument in an apartment in the 3700 block of John Street, Upper Milford Township, 1:10 p.m. Jan. 14. Boyer allegedly physically assaulted a female by kicking, shoving, choking and throwing a phone at her.
Reckless endangering
Reported in the 4800 block of Skytop Drive, Upper Milford Township, bullet hole damage to the exterior of the home was discovered after several emergency calls reporting gun shots in the area 7:30 p.m. Jan. 16.
