Burglary
A resident in the 1500 block of Graham Street reported 8:30 a.m. Jan. 9 an unknown actor entered the home by splintering the door frame. The actor removed a jewelry box filled will jewelry and emptied a piggy bank filled with cash valued at $30. Police are investigating.
Retail theft
Colin Gyulai, 23, of Nazareth, is charged with retail theft, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident at Bon-Ton, 3300 Lehigh St. 2:24 p.m. Jan. 10. Gyulai allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for a 3-pack of socks valued at $48. After being searched, police allegedly found a syringe and a packet of heroin in his pockets. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.
A 15-year-old male Salisbury resident was charged with retail theft at Bon-Ton, 3300 Lehigh St. 4:19 p.m. Jan. 13 after he allegedly removed a Polo jacket and Polo pants valued at $223.
Theft from vehicle
A resident in the 2900 block of Meadowbrook Circle reported 7 a.m. Jan. 13 overnight an unknown actor broke the passenger side front window of a vehicle and removed a canvas bag which was later recovered in a neighbor's yard.
A resident in the 2900 block of Linden Court reported 8:20 a.m. Jan. 13 overnight an unknown actor broke the front driver's side window of a vehicle and removed $10,000 worth of tools belonging to Kitchens by Design.
A resident in the 2800 block of Meadowbrook Circle reported 6:23 a.m. Jan. 13 overnight an unknown actor smashed a rear passenger side window of a vehicle and removed a canvas bag containing a cordless drill, label maker and various tools valued at $350.
A resident in the 2800 block of Meadowbrook Circle reported 12:20 p.m. Jan. 13 overnight an unknown actor broke a rear passenger side window of a vehicle and removed the radio and CDs.
A resident in the 2700 block of Green Acres Drive reported 2:30 p.m. Jan. 13 an unknown actor punched the door lock on the passenger side, entering the vehicle and removing the stereo and CD player.
