Schools in the district will be closed Monday, Jan. 19, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Classes resume Jan. 20.

The PTA Council Reflections Awards will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, in the Northampton Area High School auditorium.

The snow date is Jan. 28.

An all-you-can-eat breakfast to benefit the high school baseball team will be held 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, Jan. 18, at the Lehigh Township Country fire hall, 4188 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville.

There will also be a 50/50 drawing, baseball hat sale and lottery calendars for sale to benefit the team.

Join the Northampton chapter of Pennsylvania Association for Gifted Education for an afternoon of bowling fun and ice cream sundaes 1-3:30 p.m. Jan. 24.

The event will take place at the Bath American Legion Post 470 bowling lanes, 278 Race St.

This is an excellent opportunity for gifted students and families to socialize and have fun.

The district music department will present the districtwide orchestra concert Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 7:30 p.m. in the Northampton Area High School auditorium.

Elementary report cards will be distributed Thursday, Jan. 29.

The next Lehigh Elementary School PTA meeting is Feb. 2 at 6:30 pm. at the elementary school.
