Talk of the town! The Germansville Fire Company is having an all-you-can-eat spaghetti and meatball dinner 5-9 p.m. Jan. 16. The meal includes salad, garlic bread and beverage.

Spread the word! Once a month, the Germansville Fire Company sells Thomson's hoagies to benefit the 100th anniversary celebration.
Support your local fire company by buying or selling hoagies no later than Jan. 19.
Delivery will be 3-4 p.m. Jan. 28 at the fire company.

The public is invited! Heidelberg Union Church will launch a kick-off worship service to celebrate its 275 anniversary 11 a.m. on Jan. 18.
State Rep. Gary Day, R-187th, will be presenting the church with a celebratory citation.
A covered dish luncheon will take place immediately after the service.
All are welcome to attend.

Have a ball! Heidelberg Township's bowling league invites members of the community to join the team.
Men, women, couples and young adults are welcome to join this fun group of bowlers 7 p.m. Tuesdays at the Slatington Bowling Center.
Although the league has started, there is always room for more players.
