Retail theft
Reported at Giant food stores, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, a white male took $411 worth of razors from a shelf and left the store without paying for the items 12:55 p.m. Jan. 10. A female store employee confronted the man in a parking lot at the store and the man struck the female employee in the face. The male then fled the parking lot on foot and appeared to get into a vehicle driven by another male. The actor is described as white with dirty blonde hair worn in a pony tail and dressed in a black leather jacket and jeans. DUI
Philip Michael Infrate, 34, of Manchester, Md., may face drug possession charges and charges of driving under the influence after a traffic stop along State Route 222, southbound, at Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 9 p.m. Jan. 2. According to police, charges are pending after Infrate allegedly exhibited signs of intoxication from a controlled substance and several controlled substances and paraphernalia were seized from his vehicle. Infrate was transported to Lehigh County Prison.
David Gubitosi, Jr., 30, of Coopersburg, was charged with driving under the influence after police responded to a one vehicle accident in the 3400 block of Church View Road, Upper Milford Township, 4:20 p.m. Dec. 11, 2014. According to police, Gubitosi allegedly showed signs of impairment at the accident scene and was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, for treatment.
Jeimmy Garcia, 34, of New York City, N.Y., was arrested for driving under the influence after a traffic stop for alleged speeding on Route 222 at Mill Creek Road, 10:41 a.m. Dec. 22. Charges are pending blood test results.
Theft
Reported at a residence in the 1100 block of Grange Road, Lower Macungie Township, a .45 caliber handgun was removed from the residence between Dec. 31, 2014 and Jan. 2. Anyone with information related to this incident may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Reported by two residents in the 6800 block of Vera Cruz Road South, Lower Milford Township, two revolver handguns were taken between 3 p.m. Nov. 29, 2014 and 7:20 p.m. Dec. 8, 2014.
Reported by a resident in the 6900 block of Hunt Drive, Lower Macungie Township, several items were taken from a front porch after delivery by a postal delivery service between Nov. 25, 2014 and Dec. 22, 2014. Reported by a resident in the 1600 block of Bogie Avenue, Lower Macungie Township, Dec. 2, 2014, a fraudulent charge total- ing several hundred dollars was made on a cell phone account. The investigation continues.
Reported by a resident in the 5100 block of Spring Ridge Drive, Lower Macungie Township, a new DeWalt brand drill discovered missing after a workman was in the residence Jan. 5. The investigation continues.
Theft from
a motor vehicle
Reported by a resident in the 1700 block of Brookstone Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors took items from an unlocked vehicle between 7:05 p.m. and 7:20 p.m. Jan. 1. Police advise residents to make sure vehicles are locked, valuables are not in plain view and exterior lighting be left on at night to discourage car break-ins.
Criminal mischief
Reported at a residence in the 2100 block of Peppermint Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors removed a light bulb, broke it and placed the broken bulb inside the mailbox at the residence between Jan. 1 and 2.
Reported at a residence in the 2300 block of Aberdeen Way, Lower Macungie Township, an unknown actor placed a box containing suspected dog feces on the front porch Jan. 1. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Harassment
James Anthony Laird, 53, of Macungie, was charged with harassment 12:52 p.m. Dec. 29, 2014, after he allegedly pushed a woman during an argument. Charges were filed in District Court 31-3-02.
Theft
Reported by Red Robin Corporation, 6800 block of Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 10:50 a.m. Dec. 29, 2014, an unknown actor attempted to cash Red Robin paychecks on two different occasions. The company was notified and blocked the transactions. The police investigation continues.
Criminal mischief
Reported in the 6200 block of Batman Road, Upper Milford Township, unknown actors damaged the windows of two vehicles between 7 a.m. Dec. 8, 2014 and 2:30 p.m. Dec. 13, 2014.
