Fire crews from Eastern and Western Salisbury, Fountain Hill and surrounding fire departments responded to a three-alarm dwelling fire shortly after 5 a.m. Dec. 27, 2014.

The dwelling was located in the area of Ritter Street in Eastern Salisbury Township.

First units on the scene found a fully involved dwelling fire with flames through the roof. Crews deployed several hose lines and other firefightering equipment to extinguish the fire but the residence was a total loss.

The Red Cross was asked to provide assistance for two adults and four children and their pets at the residence.

There were no injuries reported.
