Driving under the influence

Alim Alikhan, 33, of Allentown, was charged with allegedly driving under the influence following a motor vehicle accident in the 1400 block of East Susquehanna Street, 9:38 p.m. Dec. 19, 2014.

Theft from vehicle

A resident in the 3300 block of Capital Street reported the theft of wrapped presents valued at $150 from a vehicle parked at the residence 8:20 a.m. Dec. 24, 2014. The driver's side door of the vehicle was left open.

A resident in the 1300 block of Maryland Avenue reported damage to the driver's side and passenger side windows of a vehicle 2:11 p.m. Dec. 28, 2014. A briefcase valued at $100 and a pair of Nike sneakers valued at $85 were removed.

Criminal mischief

A resident in the 1400 block of Lehigh Avenue reported damage to a mailbox 2:05 p.m. Dec. 25, 2014. The mailbox was damaged and off the post.

Pursuit

Karl Gustav Wolfram IV, 18, of the 110 block of Lichtenwalner Avenue, allegedly led police on a chase Dec. 29, 2014 along Interstate 78. The chase began in Bethlehem where Wolfram allegedly stole a dump truck. Salisbury police spotted the truck at Emmaus Avenue and South Fourth Street and followed Wolfram in the truck on Interstate 78. Wolfram then allegedly exited at Cedar Crest Boulevard where he crashed into a cornfield north of Lehigh Valley Health Network. Salisbury police ordered Wolfram out of the truck multiple times and he allegedly refused to exit. The Salisbury police K-9 Fonzie was then called to help Wolfram exit the vehicle.
