The epiphany about gasoline prices continues.
The average price for one gallon of unleaded regular gasoline continued driving downward over the Christmas holiday, through New Year's Day and into 2015.
You can determine the lowest prices in your area of the Lehigh Valley by going to 69 WFMZ "Pump Picks":

Lehigh Valley prices at the pump are still higher than the national average.

Prices are said to be down 40 percent since June.
The drop in gasoline prices is believed to be the biggest in 30 years.
If the low gasoline prices continue, it's estimated a household could save $1,500 in 2015.
A barrel of light sweet crude oil dipped below $50 to $48 for the first time since May 2009.
