LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

4-H

The 4-H knitting and crocheting club is looking for new members.

Youth ages 8 to 18 are invited to join with a sponsoring adult.

Each youth is asked to have a parent, adult family member or adult friend join them for this opportunity. Both the youth and adult member will learn the art of knitting or crocheting.

The club will meet 7 to 9 p.m. on the third Monday of each month starting Jan. 19 in the Lehigh County Agricultural Center, Dorney Park Road, South Whitehall.

This club is geared for beginning knitters and crocheters.

If you don't know the first thing about knitting or crocheting or have briefly dabbled in it, you are welcome to join.

Experienced knitters and crocheters will lead the classes.

Many educational and fun activities are offered by 4-H in Lehigh County.

In Pennsylvania, 4-H is coordinated by Penn State Cooperative Extension through the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

For more information about the Knitting and Crocheting Club or other 4-H activities, call Kelly Weisner at 610-391-9840.
