John Sorrentino Jr. 28, of New Tripoli, died Jan. 4, 2015, in his home.

He and his wife Jennifer M. (Homa) Sorrentino were married three years last Aug. 6.

Born July 2, 1986, in Allentown, he was the son of John Sr. and Antonina (Busa) Sorrentino of Ironton.

He was a team leader at DSC Logistics, Brein-igsville, since 2005.

He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield.

For the past five years, he fought a courageous battle against leukemia.

Even though he is gone now, he won the battle and is now an angel in Heaven. He kept the faith until the end.

In addition to his loving wife and parents, he is survived by his unborn child, John Sorrentino III; siblings Christina M. and Michael J. Sorrentino, both of Ironton; and mother- and father-in-law John J. III and Arlene G. (Miller) Homa of Fogels-ville.
