The Penn State Master Watershed Steward Program in Lehigh and Northampton counties will be training a new class of volunteers from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays beginning March 10. The course will run through June.

Applications are due by Jan. 9, 2015.

The program provides 40 hours of water and natural resource training. After training, volunteers are able to participate in watershed projects and programs such as designing and installing demonstration rain gardens or streamside plantings, and organizing educational workshops.
