STUDENT OF THE WEEK
Q. What grade are you currently in?
A. I am currently in 12th grade at Salisbury High School.
Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?
A. My favorite subject is science in general but particularly anatomy. I enjoy learning about how the human body works from the most basic level to the most complex level.
Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?
A. I received first place at the PJAS regional competition and first place at the PJAS state competition two years in a row.
Q. What extracurricular activities are you involved in, both in and out of school?
A. I am treasurer of Model UN, a member of student advisory and a member of National Honors Society. I also run cross country and work at the Emmaus Farmers' Market.
Q. What is your next goal after high school?
A. My goal is to attend the University of Pittsburgh and pursue a career in nursing. I hope to eventually become a nurse practitioner.
Q. What would you say your biggest challenge has been so far?
A. Balancing a hectic schedule has always been a major challenge for me. It is quite difficult to balance a rigorous academic schedule along with friends, family and sports.
Q. What do you want to be remembered for?
A. I want to be remembered for my work ethic, kindness toward others and genuine personality.
Q. Who is in your family?
A. My mother Donita, my father Andrew, my two brothers Nick and Anthony and my sister Paige.
Q. Do you have someone you look up to?
A. I look up to all my siblings. They are all older than me and are furthering their educations at university or graduate school. I admire them for their drive, dedication and overall positive outlook on life. I hope one day I can reach their level of success.
Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?
A. Set goals for yourself and do everything in your power to reach them. Work hard, stay positiveand don't let anything hold you back.
