Dr. Brent Nickischer has joined the medical staff at Senior LIFE Lehigh Valley, an all-inclusive care program for the elderly. The program works with low-income seniors who would like to remain at home, providing an alternative to nursing home placement.

Dr. Nickischer, a graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, completed his residency at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem.

He has been a clinical assistant professor of medicine at DeSales University for more than 10 years. He has been the recipient of the "Best of the Valley," Medical Grand Rounds and Resident Teaching awards.
