Pennsylvania Partner arts grants given

Twenty eight artists and musicians, along with visual and performing arts not-for-profits, have received Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA) grant checks.

PPA is a state-funding initiative of the Pennsylvania Council of the Arts (PCA) to provide financial support of arts activities for every county in the state.

The PPA grant application process is coordinated by Marilyn J. Roberts and the Lehigh Valley Arts Council for Carbon, Lehigh and Northampton counties.

The following individuals and organizations received PPA arts grant for projects between Sept. 1 and Aug. 31, 2015:

Anne Hills, "The Morningtime of Now: Stories of Opal Whiteley," in collaboration with Mock Turtle Marionettes: $412;
