One dish wonder! Germansville Fire Company is once again selling its scrumptious Christmas potato filling and hot bacon dressing just in time for your holiday feast.

Place an order by calling Harold or Elaine at 610-767-4400 no later than Dec. 22.

Filling orders are sold by the pound, and serve approximately two people.

Don't forget to bring containers for the filling to the upstairs kitchen of the fire company anytime between 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Dec. 24.

Merry and meaningful! Heidelberg Union Church will be preparing Christmas baskets for the less fortunate 6 p.m. Dec. 23.

To donate any non-perishable food items for the baskets, to help pack or if you know of a local family or individual in need, contact Joan Hein at 610-767-6557.

Spread the word! All are welcome to attend Heidelberg Union Church's 8 p.m. Christmas Eve service. The UCC service will be at 11 p.m.

A musical prelude begins 7:40 p.m., followed by the service of worship. Special inspirational music will be provided, with traditional scripture lessons read.

The Union service will conclude with the lighting of candles.

Refreshments will be served between services for those attending both.

If inclement weather results in the need to cancel worship service or Sunday School at Heidelberg Church, tune in to radio station WAEB 790 AM or WFMZ TV Channel 69.
