QWhat grade are you in?
A I am in 12th grade.
Q What is your favorite subject? Why?
A My favorite subject is communications, also known as ETV. I enjoy this class because we get to work with film and the equipment that goes along with it as well as putting on a professional quality newscast and this is what I would like to pursue in my career goals.
Q Have you received any special awards or recognition?
A I have received my Eagle Scout in Boy Scouts, which is the highest rank someone can receive. I have also been inducted into National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honor Society along with other smaller awards.
Q Are you involved in any extracurricular activities?
AI am involved in ETV where I am the lead sportscaster, Model UN where this year I am the chairman of a room for Emmaus and I am the public relations officer of the tutoring program. I am also a member of the track team where I have been on varsity for my first three seasons.
Q What is your next goal after high school?
A After high school I would like to attend college at the University of South Carolina to study film and media production.
Q What would you say your biggest challenge has been so far?
A My biggest challenge so far has been balancing grades and extracurriculars, while still spending time with friends and family.
Q What do you want to be remembered for?
AI would like to be remembered for what I contribute to the world, whether it be something large or small.
Q Who is in your family?
A My family is my brother, Mitchel, my mother, Wendy and my father, Kyle.
Q Do you have someone you look up to?
A I do not have one specific person I look up to, but there are countless people who have impacted and inspired me from family to friends to past and current teachers I have had.
Q Do you have any advice for your peers?
A My only advice to my peers would be to make sure you do not sell yourself short and at least attempt to achieve the thing, whether it be a job or another goal, you want most after high school.
