The Whitehall High School Chorale will perform a winter concert this evening, Thursday, Dec. 11, at 7 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Road, Whitehall.

Admission is free.

Zephyr Elementary School Key Club's Toy Drive is under way.

The school is collecting unwrapped toys, hats, gloves and mittens.

There are drop off boxes in the foyer area. The drive will be held for the next two weeks.

Consider donating and helping others this holiday season.

PTSA 'Lil Shoppers Shoppe at Steckel Elementary School runs Monday, Dec. 15, through Friday, Dec. 19.

The students brought home a more detailed flyer for parents to review.

The high school band and chorus holiday concert will be performed Tuesday, Dec. 16, in the high school auditorium.

The holiday music is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

Mark your calendars and plan to attend with the family for some holiday cheer.

Note that students will be dismissed early Tuesday, Dec. 23, to start the holiday break. Elementary grades and a.m. kindergarten students will be dismissed at 11:45 a.m.

The a.m. kindergarten students will be dismissed approximately 10 minutes later than their normal dismissal. The kindergarteners will ride the elementary buses with grades 1 through 5.

There is no p.m. kindergarten Tuesday, Dec. 23.

The middle school will dismiss at 10:45 a.m. Winter break will run from Dec. 24 through Jan. 2. Schools will be back in session Monday, Jan. 5.
