Members of Ziegels Union Church, 9990 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville, will be Christmas caroling from 4-8 p.m. Dec. 13 to offer homebound members the spirit of the holidays.

Carolers will meet at the church and car pool to the homes.

Ziegels annual Sunday School Christmas program will be performed by the children and youth at 10:10 a.m. Dec. 14.

The Christmas story with live nativity will be presented 5 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Dec. 14 in the church pavilion.

Jesus' birthday party with cake will take place 10:15 a.m. Dec. 21 in fellowship hall.

The senior and children choirs at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1028 Church St., Fogelsville, will be presenting a Christmas cantata titled "Lead Me Back to Bethlehem" during the 10:30 a.m. worship service Dec. 21.

St. John's will be offering a family Christmas Eve service at 4 p.m. with the candlelight service at 10:30 p.m.

Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Ave., South Whitehall, will be offering a free holiday card making event filled with decorative materials and inspiration 1 p.m. Dec. 11.

Want to enjoy different types of cookies this holiday season?

Then come to the holiday cookie exchange featuring holiday best dressed and most outrageous contests at the library 7 p.m. Dec. 15.

To participate, bake three dozen cookies and place each half dozen in a sandwich bag and print a copy of your recipe to share.

Need a last minute gift, than stop by the library for a free family craft session 10:30 a.m. Dec. 22.

The library will be closed Dec. 24 and 25 for Christmas and Dec. 31 and Jan. 1, 2015 for New Year's.
