A free information session on adoption and child foster care is being offered 6 p.m. Dec. 18 at Diakon Adoption and Foster Care, on the campus of The Lutheran Home at Topton, 1 S. Home Ave., Topton.

People interested in attending are asked to call 888-582-2230 or 610-682-1504 to register.

Staff will explain foster parenting as well as the processes involved in adopting a child.

Attendees also will learn about children available for adoption as well as the foster-to-adopt program.
