DUI

Ryan Ely Thomason, 23, of Macungie, was suspected of driving under the influence after he was stopped for an alleged vehicle code violation on South Krocks Road at Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 2:16 p.m. Nov. 27.

Theft from motor vehicle

Reported in the parking lot of 1013 Village Round apartment complex, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors broke a vehicle window and looked through the vehicle 1:30 a.m. Nov. 26.

Retail theft

Robert Phohaska, 37, of Macungie, was taken into custody and charged with summary retail theft after he allegedly took $75.60 of merchandise from Kohl's department store, 6900 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 8 p.m. Dec. 1. Charges were filed through District Court 31-3-02.

Reported at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 8:31 p.m. Nov. 30, a heavyset woman with blonde hair entered the store and placed various items in a plastic tote. The woman then attempted to leave the store but was stopped by store personnel. The woman left the items in the store and fled the scene in an older model tan Oldsmobile sedan. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

Grisela Ortiz, 24, of Allentown and Jerrika Marie Cordero, 24, of Allentown, are charged with retail theft after they allegedly underrung multiple items for sale at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 9:29 p.m. Oct. 16. Ortiz and Cordero allegedly deprived Walmart of a total of $109.40. Ortiz was charged with summary retail theft and Cordero was charged with misdemeanor retail theft. Charges were filed in District Court 31-3-02.

Donna Lee Hatfield, 46, of Allentown, is accused by police of using a self-checkout register at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, and allegedly not paying for all of the items inside her cart before leaving the store, 6:55 p.m. Nov. 25. The investigation continues.

Harassment

Reported by a resident in the 6200 block of Martin Drive, Upper Milford Township, 2:13 p.m. Nov. 30, a person the resident met on an online dating site would not leave her alone.

William Robert Pasquarella, 45, of Bridgeport, was charged with harassment after he allegedly got into an argument with a 50-year-old male in the 4900 block of Meadowview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 10:50 a.m. Dec. 2. Pasquarella allegedly shoved the male multiple times. Charges were filed through District Court 31-3-02.

Burglary

Reported at Tyler Pipe Co., 3550 block of Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors entered an unlocked door of a building within a fenced perimeter and sprayed a fire extinguisher belonging to the company throughout the building between 4 p.m. Nov. 26 and 8 a.m. Dec. 1. Criminal mischief

Reported by a resident in the 2100 block of Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors removed the doors from two PPL meter boxes between 3 and 7:30 p.m. Nov. 25. The investigation continues.

Harassment

Reported by a resident in the 900 block of Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 7:01 p.m. Dec. 3, a relative of the resident has been harassing her by telephone. The investigation continues.

Theft

Reported by a resident in the 1200 block of Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, a bicycle was taken from his driveway, 6:45 p.m. Dec. 3.
