On Dec. 2, Emmaus High School held its annual National Honor Society induction ceremony, where several juniors and seniors were inducted by current officers of NHS. Students in NHS must maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher and be involved in numerous activities inside and outside of school. Congratulations to all who were inducted.
On Dec. 12, the EHS band will hold its annual holiday concert 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium. Admission is free and all are encouraged to attend.
On Dec. 4, EHS held its annual celebration in honor of National Computer Science Week. Computer science teacher Carlen Blackstone organizes the event each year.
The event featured a demonstration by the robotics team, a meet and greet with local computer science professionals and a demonstration presented by middle school and high school students enrolled in computer science classes.
Congratulations to senior Brooke Cichocki who represented EHS in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Cichocki, a senior, plays the clarinet in the symphonic band and played with Macy's Great American Marching Band as one of the select number of students from Pennsylvania.
