Dec. 11

Luther Crest will begin the holiday season by hosting a "parade of trees," a decoration display, at the senior living community 3 p.m. Open to the public, the event will include refreshments and warm drinks. Dec. 12

Governor Wolf Historical Society candlelight holiday concert, featuring Robert Mouland's "Voice Of The Winter Wind" in the Wolf Academy on the historical society campus, 6600 Jacksonville Road, Bath, 7:30 p.m. There is a cost. For more information, go to the GWHS website, govwolf.org.

Dec. 13

Macungie Holiday will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Local businesses, the historical society and Macungie Memorial Park participate in this borough-wide event. Activities will include a scavenger hunt for all ages with participating businesses and community organizations; farmers market vendors at Macungie Institute; train displays at the Macungie Institute; breakfast with Santa at Grace Lutheran Church; horse drawn surrey rides in Macungie Park; "Home for the Holidays" at a Victorian home, 20 W. Main St.; Nutcracker highlights by Coral's Academy of Dance at Eyer Middle School; free trolley rides throughout Macungie; holiday crafters at Macungie Memorial Park and much more. Lower Macungie Township Historical Society Christmas at the Log House 4 to 7 p.m. at Wescosville Park, 5047 Hamilton Blvd.

Free turkey dinner with all the trimmings offered to the community of Emmaus at Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, 418 Elm St. Everyone is welcome. Dinner will be served promptly 4 p.m. followed by a Christmas program and ending with dessert by 6 p.m. The snow date will be 4 p.m. Dec. 14.

Dec. 14

Lower Macungie Library Costumes of Downton Abbey and Yuletide Tour at Winterthur bus trip 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. The bus will board at Lower Macungie Library 8:45 a.m. There is a cost which is due at registration and nonrefundable. Register at Lower Macungie Library without delay as tickets are limited. For more information, contact the library at 610-966-6864.

The Bach and Handel Chorale, from Jim Thorpe and surrounding areas, will perform a Christmas concert 3 p.m., St. Paul's UCC, 1249 Trexlertown Road, Trexlertown. A free will offering will be accepted. For more information, call the church office at 610-395-4571.

Emmaus Chorale concert 3 p.m. at Faith Presbyterian Church, North Second and Cherokee streets. Admission is free.

Dec. 15

GFWC PA Woman's Club of Emmaus monthly meeting 7 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, Fifth and Chestnut streets, Emmaus. The program "Holiday Celebration" will be presented by the Emmaus High School Chorale. This is also guest night.

Dec. 16

GFWC-PA Woman's Club of Macungie will hold a guest night dinner and Christmas program at the Macungie Institute, 510 E. Main St., Macungie. Music will be provided by a men's quartet. Appetizers 6 p.m. followed by dinner. All reservations must be made by Dec. 10 by calling 610-395-2603 or 610-398-9845. There is a cost for dinner. Bring cookies to share.

Dec. 17

Emmaus Historical Society Christmas party 7 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church Parish Hall, Fifth and Chestnut streets. RSVP to 610-966-6591.

Jefferson Drama Club Coach and Vera Bradley bags bingo at Jefferson Elementary School, 520 Elm St., Emmaus. Doors open noon; games begin 1 p.m. Lunch and snacks are available for purchase.
