Parkland High School chorale and Women's Ensemble will present a holiday concert 7 p.m. on Dec. 14, at Union United Church of Christ, Neffs.

Come and enjoy good cheer and the holiday spirit in the beautifully decorated sanctuary.

The concert is free, but donations will be accepted.

Union UCC will have an advent celebration on Dec. 7 after the 10:30 a.m. service. Brunch will be served, plus there will be Christmas cookies to share and an opportunity to decorate a gingerbread man.

The Sunday School singers of St. John's United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station, will present the Christmas musical "Stranger in a Manger" Dec. 13.

The evening begins with a potluck dinner at 5:30 p.m. The show begins 7 p.m. Afterward, there will be dessert, along with a time for holiday fellowship.

The youth group of St. John's UCC will be making candy for a fundraiser.

A variety of items will be available, including milk and dark chocolate peanuts, raisins and pretzels.

They will also have lollipops, walnut bark, nonpareils and several items in white chocolate.

The Upper Lehigh Historical Society will have a sale of homebaked cookies, clear toys and some merchandise noon-4 p.m. at the Schneck House on Dec. 14.

Ninety guests visited the Schneck House during the Open Gate Farm Tour in October.

Election of officers is coming up soon. The historical society needs volunteers, members and people who would like to serve as officers.

The Learning Ark Christian Pre-School of Union Lutheran Church will host a Breakfast with Santa fundraiser 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 6.

The event includes a breakfast buffet, entertainment, crafts, a holiday shop and a photo with Santa.
