Ho-ho-ho himself! On Dec. 13, the Germansville Fire Company is having a Breakfast with Santa from 7:30 a.m.-1 p.m. All are welcome.

In addition to free photos with Santa, this all-you-can-eat breakfast includes scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, creamed chipped beef, hash browns, toast, tea, coffee and juice.

There is a fee to attend.

As always, the fire company thanks you for your support.

At this time, it is also nice to note that more than 1,800 pounds of potato filling and 110 pints of bacon dressing were made and sold at Thanksgiving.

Word has it 53, 5-gallon buckets of potatoes were peeled. Wow!

Kudos to the numerous volunteers who help make the filling fundraiser such a great success each year.

Bells will be ringing! Heidelberg Concert Handbell Choir will present a Christmas concert 4 p.m. Dec. 13 at Union Lutheran Church, 5500 Route 863, Schnecksville. Snow date Dec. 14. The public is invited.

There is plenty of parking and an overhang for dropping off passengers in less than pleasant weather.

It all adds up! Heidelberg Union Church will be packing Christmas baskets for the less fortunate 6 p.m. Dec. 23.
