Filing of the Property Tax/Rebate has been extended to Dec. 31.

The Property Tax and Rent Rebate Program provides homeowners and renters over 65 years of age, widows or widowers over 50 and permanently disabled persons over the age of 18 with financial assistance.

The program's income eligibility limit for homeowners is $35,000 and $15,000 for renters. Rebates for homeowners range from $250 to $650 and renters may receive $500 to $650.
