A Keeping Fresh Produce Safe Using Good Agricultural Practices training will be held 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Dec. 18 in the Northampton Human Services Building, 2801 Emrick Blvd., Bethlehem.

The Penn State Extension workshop for fresh produce and fruit growers is a five-hour certificate program. Topics covered include an introduction to produce food safety, irrigation and wash water, risks from animals and manure, harvester and handler health and hygiene, harvest and post-harvest safety and traceability and recall programs.
