Fire crews from Western and Eastern Salisbury fire departments, along with a crew from Cetronia Fire Department respond to a reported dwelling fire at 1126 Flexer Ave. Nov. 29. When Western Salisbury Fire Chief Joshua Wells arrived on the scene he reported a loud hissing coming from the furnace and directed crews to check for fire. Crews were able to quickly determine there was no fire and it was a malfunction with the furnace. There were no injuries reported but an ambulance from Cetronia Ambulance Corps was on location as a precaution.
