Fatal accident

An 85-year-old woman has died after her vehicle struck a building in the 600 block of Broad Street.

Elizabeth Durnin, of Emmaus, was pronounced dead just before 10 p.m. Nov. 13 at Lehigh Valley Health Network, Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township, according to a press release from the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. The cause of death was blunt force injuries. The manner of death was ruled an accident.

According to police, Durnin struck the building Nov. 7. Durnin was the driver of the vehicle at the time of the accident.
