Middle school Holiday Hope Chest collections will run until Nov. 26.

Each year the middle school participates in the collection of Holiday Hope Chests for the less fortunate.

This has been a wonderful giving tradition for all to learn the importance of helping others.

Students were given lists of ideas and suggestions to fill their shoe box Hope Chest. Read over the flyer that was sent home with your child.

Elementary and middle school students will be dismissed early Nov. 24-26. There will be no kindergarten at Gockley.

The PTSA will meet at Zephyr Tuesday, Nov. 18, from 7 to 8 p.m.

District trips are limited to seven school days per year. Any days missed for travel beyond the seven days of absence will be considered illegal if the student's age is 16 or younger.

The Family Educational Trip Request Form (available in the school office) must be submitted to the office before departure. If the form is not submitted before the trip, the days will be considered illegal.

The district prefers that all trips be scheduled during holiday breaks.
