The 2014 Catasauqua High School homecoming king and queen will be announced during the annual Turkey Day Pep Rally, which will be held Wednesday, Nov. 26, in the high school gym.

On Wednesday, Nov. 26, the high school will participate in the annual pre-Turkey Day game bonfire.
The bonfire is a tradition that brings the Catasauqua community together to kick off the biggest football game of the year.
Held on the grounds of Sheckler Elementary School, a nearly 30-foot-high pile of wood, topped by a Northampton Area High school dummy, will go up in flames around 7 p.m.

The annual Thanksgiving Day football game between Catasauqua and Northampton is set to be played at Alumni Field in Catasauqua on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 27. The game will kick off 10 a.m.
Tickets for the game are on sale in Catasauqua and Northampton athletic offices as well as Hartzell's Pharmacy in Catasauqua.
The tickets will be on sale daily from 8:15 a.m. until 2:45 p.m. Advance tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens. All tickets sold at the game will be $7. All tickets sold in advance and at the game are general admission.
The last day to purchase advance tickets is Tuesday, Nov. 25.

Any German Club member going to Christkindlmarkt Friday, Dec. 5, should come to room B221 to pick up a permission slip as soon as possible.
All permission slips and money must be returned to Frau by Wednesday, Nov. 26. Tickets are $8 this year and can be paid in cash or from your account.

Schools in the Catasauqua Area School District will be closed in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday from Thursday, Nov. 27, through Monday, Dec. 1.
