Central Catholic schedules retreat Nov. 23 to 26

Central Catholic High School students are greatly anticipating Kairos VII, the upcoming religious retreat.

This is the seventh such retreat Allentown Central Catholic offers.

Additional retreats are planned this school year in the winter and spring.

This unique, overnight retreat is exclusively for seniors and runs Nov. 23-26.

The retreat will focus on building bonds with new people and encouraging people to look beyond the surface.

It is expected most members of the senior class will participate in one of the three Kairos retreats offered this year.

The school administration and teachers fully support the retreat because many find it to be a truly touching experience, building bonds often lasting a lifetime.

Seniors participating in the retreat have both teacher and student group leaders who are there to help the individual groups bond and grow closer, with the focus being to break down any barriers between the members of each small group, referred to as a "family."

Central Catholic feels the retreat is a great opportunity for its students and encourages all who are interested to register for Kairos VIII.

Many group leaders have been looking forward to the retreat for months.

All here at CCHS wish those going on Kairos VII a wonderful time and a great experience.
