To the Editor:

The Emmaus Lioness Lions Club just completed our annual apple dumpling fundraiser which we have been successfully accomplishing for the last 18 years. The profit we realize is used to assist those less fortunate than ourselves.

With the help of our fellow Lions, friends and family, we made over 3,000 apple dumplings again this year.

We would like to thank the community and volunteers for their continued support. Special thanks go to the Emmaus Bakery. The owner of the bakery turns his business over to us for two days and asks nothing in return. Without his generosity, we would not be able to accomplish this huge task and assist those in need.
