Emmaus Historical Society meets 7 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church. John and Marlene Herbein Antique Tools and Collectibles will present a history of antique tools used in the area with a display of collectibles.

Craft fair at Lower Macungie Community Center, 3450 Brookside Road, Macungie, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Over 100 local crafters will present holiday gift ideas. Jefferson Drama Club hosts an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast 9 a.m. to noon at Jefferson Elementary School, 520 Elm St., Emmaus. Proceeds support the drama club and the production of "The Rockin Tale of Snow White" April 18, 2015. There is no charge for children two and under. GFWC-PA Woman's Club of Emmaus will hold its monthly meeting 7 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, Fifth and Chestnut streets, Emmaus. The program is Pointsettias in Bloom by Cindy Thomas from Schantz Greenhouse. Candy orders are also due.

Nov. 28

The 44th annual Belsnickel Craft Show at Boyertown Senior High School, Fourth and Monroe streets, Boyertown, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Over 140 artisans comprised of Pennsylvania state guild members as well as local and regional juried participants will display their crafts. Sale also 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 29.

Dec. 2

The quarterly meeting of the Hivel Und Dahl Preservation Society 7 p.m. at the 1803 House, 55 S. Keystone Ave. Enter from Minor Street between Second Street and Kline's Lane. We will see how homes were decorated for Christmas in colonial times with found, native evergreen plants like ground cedar and winterberry (examples will be provided). There will also be a discussion of Kugels (early, glass ornaments) and Dresdan paper ornaments used to decorate Christmas trees in Victorian times. The drawing for the painting of the Schubert-Graber Log Cabin will be held during the meeting. Light refreshments will be served. Guests are always welcome. Dec. 4

Allentown AARP Chapter #5415 will meet noon at St. Timothy's Church, 140 S. Ott St., Allentown. A membership recognition holiday lunch for 2014 paid up members will be held noon until 1 p.m. There is a charge for guests who accompany members; reservations must be made. At 1 p.m., open to the public, Beverley Bley as "Mrs. Santa Claus," will entertain and tell things you never knew about Santa Claus. Bring a non-perishable food item for the Allentown Food Bank. Lower Macungie Library Costumes of Downton Abbey and Yuletide Tour at Winterthur bus trip 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. The bus will be boarded at Lower Macungie Library 8:45 a.m. There is a cost which is due at registration and nonrefundable.
