Carol Betz, Phyllis Breininger and Tara Jones have placed a 3-foot by 5-foot picture fame filled with photos illustrating Heidelberg Township's history in the back of the meeting room at the township building.

Having the idea for many years, the trio of history buffs finally found the time to put to use many of the old photographs community members previously donated for the township's 250-year anniversary in 2002.

The large center piece is one of three boards the women completed, spending more than 40 hours gathering, sorting, arranging and pinning photos.
