LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

SALISBURY THEATRE DEPARTMENT

The Salisbury Theatre Department will present "Alices in Wonderland" 7 p.m. Nov. 13, 14 and 15 and 3 p.m. Nov. 16 in the high school auditorium.

The play is a unique adaptation of Lewis Carroll's beloved children's tale "Alice in Wonderland."

The play follows "Alice" in three different time periods as the character tumbles down the rabbit hole and into the madness of wonderland.

The cast includes three different "Alice" characters.

Sophomore Jessette Long plays Alice in the Victorian era, senior Hali Letlow plays Alicia from the 1920s and freshman Jack Kubinec plays Alister from the 1980s.

The play features favorite characters including the Cheshire Cat(s), the Mad Hatter, March Hare, Duchess, Queen and King of Hearts, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum and more.

Will Windsor Erwin returns as director and thanks Salisbury students, parents, faculty, staff and the administration for their support of the drama program.

Erwin feels strongly "theater is a collaborative art involving design, music, literature, architecture, fashion and history to create a work of art."

He said he wanted to add another element into the mix– one of education.

"For the first time, we have students as costume designer, graphic designer and visual designer," Erwin said. "I couldn't be happier with the fact the 'theatre kids' have started taking the reigns, giving advice and starting to ask 'what if?' which is one of the greatest questions for an educator to hear."

CJ Matz returns to Salisbury as scenic designer as does Chris West as lighting designer.

The cast includes Jessette Long, Aliyah Kimmey, Danny Walters, Aaron Feller, Theresa Buckley, Abigail Garrigan, Letlow, Kubinec, David Eckhart, Adam Smith, Reilly Yankovich, Shannon Cornish, Lindsay Joseph, Kaitlin O'Connor, Margaux Petruska, Olivia Werkheiser, Leandra Roelker, Marisa Butillo, C.J. Tocci, Carolyn Boulay, Dane Galbraith, Meagan Eripret, Soleil Ducusin, Haley Bergstrom, Samantha Perkins, Alexa Chladny, Eric Pennella, Danielle Bartolucci, Michelle Colon and Sophia Ravenelle.
