Last week, Emmaus High School's drama department presented "The Diary of Anne Frank."
The main roles included sophomore Julia Bezems as Anne Frank, junior Victoria Reichelderfer as Margot Frank, senior Andrew Ferguson and Otto Frank and sophomore Jason Bowen as Peter Van Daan. The show was directed by drama teacher Jill Kuebler. Congratulations to the cast and crew for putting on outstanding performances.
Habitat for Humanity held a spaghetti dinner in Café 1 Nov. 8 between two performances of "The Diary of Ann Frank." Proceeds supported Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley.
The EHS debate team faced Whitehall and Parkland high schools in competition Nov. 6. The Hornets defeated Whitehall but fell to Parkland.
As fall sports draw to a close, tryouts for winter sports are right around the corner.
The first day of practices for all winter sports is Nov. 17.
Also, the Emmaus High School Fitness team held its first practice Nov. 7. All grades and ability levels are welcome to join for a good work out.
Applications for the Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership Seminar are now available in the counseling office for all sophomores. One student will be selected to participate in the seminar in June 2015. The seminar is a weekend filled with leadership training and motivation building activities.
