Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley, Inc. holds "The Hearts of Gold Gala," 6:30 p.m. Nov. 15, Metro Beauty Academy, 4977 Medical Center Circle, Allentown.

There will be cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, jazz music, a DJ, dancing, silent auction and live auction of art created by the children and families of the foundation.

The event is adults-only, black-tie optional, with gold attire preferred.

"Gold is the color that represents childhood cancer, because children are as precious as gold," said Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley, Inc. Executive Director Michelle Zenie.
