DUI
Malcolm Wilson, 23, of Emmaus, was charged with driving under the influence after he allegedly was seen driving on a flat tire at Klines Lane and Minor Street 2 a.m. Sept. 27. Wilson was processed and released.
Steven Marusich, 23, of Emmaus, was charged with driving under the influence after he allegedly sustained a flat tire and attempted to drive along Cedar Crest Boulevard and Little Lehigh Drive 12:40 a.m. Oct. 5. Marusich was processed and released.
John Svrcek, 66, of Emmaus, was charged with driving under the influence, accidents to unattended property and failure to notify police of an accident after police were called to Shimerville Road and Pennsylvania Avenue for a hit and run accident. A witness saw the accident where Svrcek's vehicle allegedly struck a guide wire to a telephone pole. Svrcek then allegedly fled the accident scene. The witness followed Svrcek to his residence where police found him outside the residence. Svrcek was processed and released.
Belinda Scott, 54, of Macungie, was charged with driving under the influence of controlled substances after police were called to investigate an accident in the 800 block of Chestnut Street 11:45 p.m. Sept. 8. Scott allegedly struck two parked cars and appeared under the influence at the time. This assumpton was confirmed by a blood test after Scott was transported to the hospital, according to police.
Disorderly conduct
Jacqueline Hertzog, 39, of Emmaus, was charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkeness after she allegedly created a disturbance at Second and Ridge streets Oct. 18 during the Emmaus Halloween parade. Hertzog was cited and released.
Burglary
Reported by a resident in the 600 block of Ridge Street, an unknown actor kicked in a door to a residence between Oct. 17 and 19. Nothing was reported taken.
Theft
Craig Becker, 28, of Easton and Michael Camaerei, 48, of Easton, were taken into custody and charged with theft, receiving stolen property and defiant trespass after they allegedly took 15 used tires from the Kelly Buick car dealership, 521 State Ave., 9:30 a.m. Oct. 12. Dealership security personnel notified police who responded and allegedly found two males loading used tires from the dealership into a box truck. The men did not have permission to take the tires, police said. Becker and Camaerei were processed at Lehigh County Central Booking.
Burglary and criminal mischief
Reported by Schiller and Pfeiffer, 301 S. Fourth St., unknown actors broke into an unoccupied warehouse and painted graffiti, set off fire extinguishers and broke windows between Oct. 15 and 20. A police investigation is ongoing.
