St. John's United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station, will have a walk-in basket social 5-8 p.m. Nov. 7, and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 8.
The drawing begins 3:30 p.m. Saturday. There will be baskets for food lovers, sports fans, holidays, children and more.
Plenty of food, including homemade baked goods, and refreshments will be available for eat-in or take-out.

Boy Scout Troop 144 will have a spaghetti dinner and basket social raffle 4-7 p.m. Nov. 15, at St. John's UCC.
The all-you-can-eat meal includes pasta with assorted sauces, salad, bread, homemade desserts and beverage.
Tickets will be available at the door, but receive a discount by purchasing them by Nov. 11.

Union Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, is hosting a holiday crafts show 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 15.
There will be more than 80 crafters with homemade items such as jewelry, wood crafts, purses, handwoven baskets, painted slates and LED bottle lamps.
There will be a Chinese auction, bake sale and a variety of foods available for lunch.
This is a great opportunity to enjoy fellowship and friends, to purchase Christmas gifts, and to get into the holiday spirit with songs played by DJ Tim Remaly.
