Spread the word! The Germansville Fire Company Craft Show will take place 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 9, in the social hall.

See numerous displays of beautiful, handmade items and start Christmas shopping early.

The kitchen will be open for lunch, with desserts available at the bake sale.

There will also be a Chinese auction and a 50/50 drawing, as well.

Bring your kids and camera and stay to see Santa 1-2:30 p.m.

Joyful giving! According to Heidelberg Church soup kitchen Assistant Coordinator Linda Hausamann, 190 hot meals were served recently to the hungry and homeless at the Allentown Soup Kitchen. Pumpkin pies or any kind of pumpkin dessert are being sought for Nov. 10.

Donations may be dropped off at fellowship hall 6-7 p.m.

Show your support! The Germansville Fire Company is selling Thompson's Hoagies once a month to benefit the 100th anniversary celebration. Support your local fire company by buying or selling hoagies on Nov. 10 and Dec. 8. Delivery will be between 3-4 p.m. Nov. 19 and Dec. 17.

Hoot and holler! The Ontelaunee Rod and Gun Club, New Tripoli, is having its annual Fall Sportsmen's Raffle and Block Shoot Nov. 16. Doors open at noon.

This year's tickets are compliments of A.F. Boyer Hardware and Guns, Slatington. Thank you Alan and Debbie!

In addition to free refreshments, there will be forty Weis Market gift certificates raffled off during the afternoon.

There will also be eight guns raffled off plus two door prizes, selected at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
