It's church bazaar season.

St. Peter's Union Church will hold its annual fall bazaar 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 8 at the church, 7863 St. Peter's Road, Macungie, between Seisholtz- ville and Shimerville. There's lots of food on the menu, including homemade chicken pot pie, turkey barbecue, pepper cabbage, soup, baked beans, etc., as well as lots of baked goods. Eat in or take out. You can buy quarts or pints. New this year will be cut-out cookies sold by the pound. There will also be crafters, holiday gifts, a used book sale and more. Old Zionsville UCC is holding its 18th annual bazaar and filled basket auction, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 8. Unique gifts will be available for Christmas or any other occasion. Come browse the many crafters and vendors. Check out the auction baskets and buy tickets to win your favorites. Enjoy a delicious lunch and bake sale. St. Peter's Church will hold a joint Thanksgiving Eve service 7 p.m. Nov. 26 at Huff's Union Church. Worshippers are asked to bring a canned good to share with local food pantries.

Upper Milford Fire Company, Route 100, Old Zionsville, serves breakfast 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. the first Sunday of every month, all you care to eat. There are senior, adult and children's prices. The Upper Milford Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary will host a Family Fun Night 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 2 at Friendly's, 6894 Hamilton Blvd., Trexlertown. A percentage of all the proceeds during that time period will benefit the fire company.

The Ladies Auxiliary meets 7 p.m. Dec. 2 at the firehouse. New members are always welcomed.

The Lower Milford Fire Company, 1601 Limeport Pike, will hold its popular pork and sauerkraut dinner 4:30 to 7 p.m. Nov. 13 or until sold out, so get there early. The fire company will hold breakfast 8 a.m. to noon Nov. 23. The menu includes eggs to order, omelettes, potatoes, creamed chipped beef, bacon, sausage, ham, French toast and pancakes. Children under 4 years old are free, and members of the military, firefighters, fire police EMT members and police will receive a discount.

The Emmaus-Upper Milford Joint Environmental Advisory Council will meet 7:30 p.m.Nov. 24 in Upper Milford.

The Upper Milford Historical Society will not meet in November and December, but be sure to check out the beautiful quilt made by society members, which is now hanging in the Upper Milford Township building.

The Lower Milford Historical Society meets 7:30 p.m. Nov. 19 at the Lower Milford Township building. For more information, go to the website, LowerMilfordHistory.org.
