Upper Macungie will be hosting Trick-or-Treat Night 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31.

Friends of Upper Macungie Township Parks and Recreation will have its annual Run/Walk for Parks 5k and 1 Mile Walk 10 a.m. Nov. 2 at Lone Lane Park, 30 Lone Lane.

Proceeds from the event will be used for the development of paths and trails in the park system.

Sponsor a wreath in memory of or in honor of a veteran for $10.

Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Ave., South Whitehall, will be hosting author and paranormal expert Charles J. Adams III for a talk and book signing of his book "Ghost Stories of the Lehigh Valley" 7-8 p.m. Oct. 30.

Books will be available for purchase.

The library will be having Family Storytime for children 18 months to 3 years 10:30-11 a.m. Oct. 30 and Nov. 5, 6 and 12.

Younger and older siblings may attend. An adult must stay with each child.

There will be stories, songs and games for the entire family.

Preschool Storytimes for children 3- to 5-years-old will be 1-1:30 p.m. on Oct. 30; Nov. 5, 6 and 12.

Parents must stay in the library but do not have to attend storytime with the children. There will be stories, songs, games and crafts.

Drop-In Storytime for families with children of all ages will be 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 31 and Nov. 7.

There will be stories, songs and games for the entire family to share.

No registration is required.

Join local author Kathryn Craft for a talk and book signing of "The Art of Falling," 7-8 p.m. Nov. 6 at the library.

Daddy and Me Storytime will be 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Nov. 8 at the library.
