The Western Salisbury Elementary School PTA fall festival was held Oct. 24 with plenty of activities for the entire family. The PTA held a piggy bank challenge where all classrooms collected money to earn the chance to kiss "Pee Wee" the pig at the fall festival. "Pee Wee" is part of the Pig Placement Network, a charity run by volunteers dedicated to the well-being of the pet pig. The total collected by the classrooms was $1,144.26. In third place was Michaeleen Reinhard's first grade classroom, second place was Patricia Anderson's fourth grade classroom and the top classroom was Matt Somishka's third grade classroom.
