Marilyn A. Roth, 70, of Schnecksville died Oct. 21, 2014, surrounded by her loving family in her home.
She and her husband Stanley H. Roth were married 50 years.
Born March 8, 1944, in Slatington, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Margaret (Heimbach) Mummey.
A member of New Life Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Tripoli, she was a well-known, accomplished vocalist appearing with "The Good Life."
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by daughters, Cheryl Semmel and husband Dennis, and Karen Betancourt and husband Jimmy, all of Schnecksville; siblings Carolyn Day, Rodney Mummey, Lillian Hoffman and husband, Dennis, Bartine Mummey and wife Dawn, Reynold Mummey, Robert Mummey, all of Slatington, Valerie Jones and husband, Ron, of Hellertown, Veronica Redline and husband, Bruce, of Slatington; grandchildren Austin and Brandon Semmel, Monica and Isaiah Betancourt; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by siblings Marjorie Fenstermaker and Gerard Mummey.
Her funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Oct. 25, at New Life Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6804 Weiss Road, New Tripoli, with the Rev. Scott W. Lingenfelter officiating.
Family and friends may pay their respects 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday in the church.
Interment will be private, at the convenience of the family.
