Northern Valley Evangelical Free Church, 7343 Gun Club Road, New Tripoli, will host an Answers in Genesis representative, who will lead discussions on "The Relevance of Genesis" with special emphasis on geology and astronomy from 9:15-10:15 a.m. Oct. 26.

Admission is free.

Weisenberg Lutheran Church will have a Pennsylvania German worship service 2:30 p.m. Nov. 2.

The message will be delivered by the Rev. Ethan Levengood of Lititz.

Donald Breininger is the worship leader.

Special music will also be presented for your enjoyment.

Jacob's Church, New Tripoli, will host its annual oyster supper 4-7 p.m. Nov. 1 in the activity center.

Menu includes homemade fried oysters, oyster pies, oyster stew; french fries, chicken barbecue, fried or steamed shrimp, pepper cabbage and a large bake sale, including lemon strip pies.

Take-out will be available.

Ebenezer UCC's Halloween Party is set for 6 -8 p.m. Oct. 25. There will be ghoulish games, spooky snacks and creepy crafts.

The first Leaser Lake 5k Trail Run will take place 9 a.m. Oct. 25.

The event being held to raise awareness of the Leaser Lake Heritage Foundation's handicapped accessible projects, which include docks, a ramp for wheelchairs to reach the water, bathrooms, paved walking path, picnic tables and other amenities.

The foundation's master plan will be on display.

Members of the Kempton Lions Club have been instrumental in obtaining grants and support.

There are currently 58 runners/walkers registered and kids can Participate in a fun run at 9:45 a.m.
