Lehigh Valley Business Group and Crossroads Elderly Advocacy Solutions and Services need donations for the Shoeboxes For Seniors campaign to benefit low income elderly persons.

Donations of small items are needed to fill shoeboxes for Christmas. Filled boxes will be given to seniors at home or in nursing homes.

Items can be donated until Dec. 5.

Needed items include: travel size toiletries, nail care items such as emery boards and clippers, hair care items such as brushes and combs, small gift packs of perfume, lotions and body wash, shaving lotion, postage stamps, winter accessories such as hats, gloves and scarves, word find/search and crossword puzzle books, decks of playing cards, pens, flashlights with batteries, potholders, kitchen towels, wrapped candy, individual cups of fruit, applesauce and pudding.
